I had to skip my smoothie!  We ran to the college tour and I never found  a drink to add my shake powder to.

At the college salad bar! Really good!

Cleanse Day 10

I love Google!  I searched for Vegetarian Restaurants and came up with  The Green Sage and The Plant ! The perfect places to keep up the cleanse.  We loved them both!

Today I made a double shake to take with me.  This is the cup I use.  It has this metal object in it to blend the drink.  If anyone knows what it is called or where you can get one please post!  I think it is great!

Cleanse Day 6

Breakfast: Raspberry, Lemon and Ginger image (1)

Lunch:

Another repeat at Gourmet Garage.  Avocado Roll and Avocado Spring Roll.  No soups fit the cleanse today,  oh well. I eat this lunch A LOT!   even when I am not cleansing.

 

   Dinner:  

Salad, Quinoa and Brown Rice, Broccoli and Japanese Sweet Potatoes

I will tell you it was LEFTOVERS!

I had the brown rice pasta with swiss chard but we added sauteed mushrooms.

Plus a nice salad similar to every other salad I posted.

Cleanse Day 4

Breakfast – Shake

Blueberry, Strawberry, Lemon and Ginger in a blender cup to go.  I usually add a little ginger to warm it up.  I also use room temperature water.  Some people have no problem drinking cold drinks, but I do especially now that it is getting chillier.

I have some repeat items because I have to say I love leftovers.  For us, they’re not really leftover.  We make more than we need so that we can have good food in the fridge for the next day.  I couldn’t eat the same thing every day but one or two days of it I really enjoy. Soup tastes better the next day anyway.
