What Is Chiropractic?
The practice of chiropractic care focuses on the health of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems, which leads to overall general body health. Chiropractic is defined as detecting and correcting structural imbalances in the human body for the purpose of removing nerve interference and the other bodily effects. These interferences are the result or related to distortion, misalignment or subluxation of or in the vertebral column.
According to the Merriam-Webster Dictonary, health is defined as the state of being well and free from illness, injury, or disease. Dorland's Medical Dictonary continues to add that health is not merely a state of absence from illness, but also a state of optimal, physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
